Hi,the description of the Indus reads: End pin:
Brass casing that inserts deep into the body and locks the strap button in place. Are those just normal end pins, or something similar to the schaller security lock end pins?Is it possible to get a vigier from factory with schaller security locks?
End Pin Locking?

Yes it is common to all Vigiers and you can use the screw provided to install Schaller Security lock. We can also install them for you if you special order them.Julian Hagenauer wrote:Hi,the description of the Indus reads: End pin: Brass casing that inserts deep into the body and locks the strap button in place. Are those just normal end pins, or something similar to the schaller security lock end pins?Is it possible to get a vigier from factory with schaller security locks?

The brass insert is great, no more stripped screw holes from * straplocks! I've had to use matchsticks and glue more times than I care to remember!I installed Shallers on my Vig today and used the original screws but I had to drill the Schaller strap buttons a bit because the hole was too tight for the Vigier screw, the Schaller screw was thin and short compared to the Vigier screw.

Yes our system works well, since we use it no more tape to hold the strap on stage !!
