! I have a question about the height of the pickups, especially about the corresponding height between the neck and bridge pickup. Right now, the distance between the string and the bridge pickup is 2mm on the C string, and 3mm on the low B string, measured with the 24th fret depressed. What should the distance between the strings and the neck pickup be? Right now I use the same distance as what the bridge pickup is set too, but it seems a bit louder. Can you please inform me? Hi, Last week I bought a used Arpege 6 string, I think it's a model III, build in 1995, serial number 021. After cleaning and adjusting the bass I'm very very happy with it! It's a keeper !
