I am very honored to let you all know that Bass Direct are now the Uks official Vigier Bass Guitar dealer. As such we will have a great selection of basses in for you to try. We are based in the Midlands and are easy to get to from London, Manchester, Birmingham etc.

Having been a great fan of Vigier basses back in the 80s it is an absolute pleasure to be working with Patrice and with Ben in the UK. I played all the new basses at Frakfurt and I can tell you they really deliver - a new generation basses for a new generation of bass players (and some old ones too ;-0 ).

Hi All

Just to let you know that we have received the first pair of new passes from Vigier. These are an Excess in a black trans finish and a stunning Roger Glover in a deep deep blue finish over flamed French Maple with a Maple fretboard.

Both basses sound and play beautifully, the Excess has lighter strings on it and a real slap monster, the Roger Glover is set up for a more rock/pop vibe with heavier strings and a higher action.

These 90/10 necks are rock solid and the build quality is absolutely first class. If you are interested in a demo please let me know.
