Was Shawn Lane using the DiMarzio Air Classic pickups when he came to Vigier, or did that start later on?His tone is fantastic, and I'm trying to figure out when he started using them.

He was already endorsed at that time and DiMarzio (Steve Blucher) provided us the pickups to put on his guitars.Later
on I know he tried different configuration, but he told me once the
DiMarzios were the "best" and I confirm because I heard at least one of
the tested configuration.
