i'm planning of sanding down a neck of one of my vigier guitars to make the necka little bit thinner around the 12th fret. how much can i take away without damaging the neck or cause stability problems? are there any health risks because of the cabon? thanks in advance

You should not remove more than 1mm, but remember that more you remove worth it is for the sound! There are no health risk with the carbon.
