Fretless Guitar Fest, 20 - 21 Sept, Crash Mansion, NYC http://www.fretlessguitarfestival.com/Vigier is sponsoring the event, and I'm sure a lot of surfreters will be there - Patrice, are you coming in person???If not, i had a question for you -- my surfreter -- which gets played constantly( 4 or 5 hours a night these days), is showing some wear in spots, and i even had a bit of brass flaking off. I may have "overcleaned" it a few polishes back, but ive been careful since then. Question -- can you offer a resurfacing or refinishing of the fingerboard, and if so, what would be the cost, and what would be the turnaround time?

Sorry I did
not go to the festival this year, but at Vigier we are very much happy this
festival exist and wish to help as much as possible.
Regarding your fingerboard wearing out, I'm skeptical, because in almost 30
year we have not redone any surfacing, even on bass guitar that have strings fare more aggressive than guitar.

You can polish it as much as you want, there is not limit to that. Also the metal is not brass, it is a very hard alloy.
