Hi everyone,

I have a Vigier Excalibur Supra, serial number 930165 — could it be from 1993?

I also have a few questions and would really appreciate your help:

1.- Do you recommend to install a Dampener in this guitar?

2.- Would it be possible to replace the entire bridge with the 2011 version?

3.- On this model, can the zero fret be replaced by the user, or does it require a luthier? And which zero fret in the online shop would be the correct one for this guitar?

4.- If a refret is needed at some point, what fret model/specs should be used for this guitar?

I know it’s quite a few questions — thank you in advance for any help or insight!

Cheers!

Hello,
Here are the answers :
1) Yes
2) It is possible but not easy, it requires an experimented luthier.to do it, I would recommend not to do it.
3) It require a luthier to remove it but after that you can use a removable fret

or

4) This kit + a zero fret as the zero fret is not included in the kit

For your info, I have the same Excalibur (Supra in SSS)

I'm very grateful for the responses, I'll keep them in mind. It has become one of my favorite guitars, and even after 32 years it still sounds great. It's the second Supra I own—the other one is an HSS from 2006.
Thanks again and best regards.
