I purchased a used 2018 Excalibur original from Reveb and there is minimal fret area from the high E string to the fret edge of the first several frets which I attempted to attach a picture of. The area available for the string measures approximately 2/64 inch.
This minimal clearance causes the high E string to pull off of the fretbaord constantly and makes it nearly impossible to play high E string runs on this guitar.
I also have a Vigier Wood with approximately 3/64 inch string area and 2005 Excalibur original with approximately 4-5/64 inch string area and string slipping is not a problem on these guitars.
I made two attempts to contact customer service, by email from the Vigier web site and a PM on Facebook, several weeks ago and have heard nothing back. My Facebook message was "seen" shortly after but I have had no response. I am disappointed in the lack of response from any customer service in regards to this issue.
Is this a normal variant to the fret/string spacing?
I will also attempt to attach pictures of the other two guitars for comparison.

During transportation the neck alignment can shift, so, it is probably a matter of aligning the neck properly.
Unlock the neck screws a little ,enough to untight the neck not more and, your guitar facing you, push the neck to the left.
If you are unsure, contact a luthier.
