The guitar has the famous bolt on neck 10/90 (10% carbon, 90%). The neck plays amazingly and is probably the best I've ever played! It is maple with a rosewood fingerboard.
It has a flamed maple top on the body with matching headstock.
There are EMG pickups on it but I have swapped the original 81/85 combo for a 57/66 combo which I had to import from the USA as they're not available here yet. These have a much more natural feel to them and can get some lovely tones on them. They are still active and can pack a punch but sound much more organic and are more like a hot passive pickup.
The tuners are oversized Vigier locking tuners and the bridge is a Vigier non locking pivoting on needles bearings which is a very accurate and lovely system.
It comes with the original manual and hiscox hardcase.
I have it advertised for £1199 but I'm open to genuine reasonable offers.
If you would like any pictures just let me know and I will email them over to you.
If you have any more questions or would like to see the guitar and try it just get in touch.
Hi there,
thanks for the offer but I'll have to decline it I'm afraid. The ultra retails at around £2499 and the Indus around £1300 so not really a fair trade.
thanks
steve
mine is black and is as new as you can get
and yes, i want a fixed bridge, i have enough floating bridge guitars so i'm only interested in a fixed bridge at the moment
We have done some Ultra's in the past with fixed bridge, although they are no longer available...I have 2 very special HH Ultra's with fixed bridge.

interested in a trade for a NOS black indus?
Sorry, I have an Indus already (this was my first Vigier)...I am very close to my Vigier guitars and do not want to part from them. I am sure if you keep looking you will find the right fixed bridge Vigier, they are rare, but worth the wait. Good luck.
Yeah, I know, 1 post only, but I really want a Vigier and I thought what better place to buy them 2nd hand than here So I am a Vigierless newbie, not for long I hope...
Hi there, yes the guitar is still for sale. I took it off sale in a few places recently but was going to put it back on sale this weekend so you've jumped in at the right time. I'm in Manchester, where are you?
