Hello

I just got my vigier kaos, and im not a fan or 9-46 strings, I have not put 9-42 strings on, this means that the strings ring behind the zero fret. is there anythung that I can do? new nut?

or just put a piece of foam under the strings?

A new nut should stop this, or use a hair band over the strings (behind the nut), that will help dappen any 'ping'. As it is also the new Teflon nut, this can be 'manipulated' to 'close' the gaps. Try using a plastic hammer to hit the top where the slots are too wide.
If you still wish to change the nut, it is very easy (no need for tools and can be done at home). Replacement nuts are not expensive and you can order these from a good Vigier dealer in your country.
