so the dust has settled for the first Guitar Nation Live show hosted at the Kensington Olympia, London. This was just the show the UK needed, throughout the show there was a real buzz from the public and exhibitors alike, the intimate setting of the Olympia made sure there was defiantly no 'empty' feel that has plagued other UK shows of late. A great cross section of booths gave the public the perfect chance to interact with various companies at their leisure. The Vigier booth was busy from the moment the early doors opened t 10am Saturday morning right up to 5pm on Sunday as the show was closing. It was great to talk to many different people, and show them the different Vigier models available and to help answer any questions they had...for most questions it was good to explain why or how or even alternatives in our ranges but the best thing was for the public to feel and use their ears and senses to try the different Vigier's to see why they are such highly desirable instruments. We had Dudley Ross and Joe Grouse both providing demonstrations throughout the show and their playing defiantly was a real show stopper, attracting crowds with their many different styles. This versatility was all to apparent as both Joe and Dudley switched effortlessly between blues, jazz, rock and heavy metal all in the blink of an eye. This showed off Vigier's skill to provide the very best quality tone for every player.Once again it was a pleasure and a real treat for the UK's public to have Patrice Vigier present on the booth to meet and talk to the public. So the show came to a close on the Sunday evening, but not before thousands of new Vigier fans went home dreaming of their next guitar!!The booth...The booth...Dudley Ross demonstrating his Excalibur UltraCrowds enjoying the Vigier boothPatrice and I

I arrived
at Guitar Nation a good hour late due to the tempest that delayed all the ferries.
When I arrived it was raining in London and Ben was already there and had
organized the stand so we could setup.

After a 5
hours setup we went to the hotel to shower before going out to eat to my favorite UK meal, Indian! We had a good meal, spoke a lot
and ate too much.

The first
day was nice and we had a lot of musician going to our stand. Dudley Ross did
some demos and was very impressive in its playing. He tries the new G.V.Wood
P90 on its music; taught some fretless trick to young kid and did not touch one
candy of the Cadbury chocolate box that Ben brought, Ben and I took care of
half of it while he was playing.

After the
show we went straight to have another Indian restaurant. We asked for an aperitif
to start our meal but the restaurant was religious and did not serve any alcohol. Locally they let me go to the shop next to the restaurant to buy some. At the end of
the meal the manager was complaining that his business was very weak and that
he was the last of a long list of owner. Well! When you know that restaurants
are making the main part of their profit with drinks, I was not surprised and
kind of amused.

The second
day started as well as the first one and Ben was, as usual, very informative and
dedicated to our visitor.

At 11:00? I was very impressed by the
British celebration of the people fighting and dead for the nation. You have a
crazy hall full of noise that in a second become as quite as if you were deaf,
it is very emotional.

Joe Grouse
came that day and we had a good time together.

Joe and
Dudley did some nice demos that everybody liked excepted, maybe our front neighbor
that looks like he hated us to make too many noise. I apologize....

I have met
during the show a lot of people that are playing Vigier and some that plans to play Vigier, it was very nice and I thank you all for your nice comments. and for coming to our stand.

We finished
the show at 5:00 and this year we had a lot of help to tire down
so I could catch my ferry not too late. Thank you for the help guys and girls.

I left in
the traffic, got a quite late ferry and arrived in my bed at 4:30 where I could start dreaming to
this great weekend in London.
