I know the specification says "medium".
I was wondering if they were made with for instance, Dunlop Fretwire.
If they are Dunlop, are they 6100, or 6000...or what?
If they are not Dunlop, are they close to any type that is commonly made?

I am asking because I bought a Shawn Lane signature neck with a very bad fret-job and would I like to restore it. It is also missing the zero fret.

Would I be able to send it to someone at the UK Vigier dealer, to be repaired or refretted?

Thank you!

It is worth contacting your closest Vigier dealer - they will be able to re-fret or send it back to the factory for repair.

Thanks Ben.

My closest shop that has Vigiers in store is Tervor Durrant, Colchester. The main UK dealer looks like your place in Salisbury.
Who is best to contact?

It would be best to contact your closest dealer - there is no 'main uk dealer', all the UK dealers carry about the same level of stock. They will be able to contact us to sort out returning the neck to France for work to be done.

Ok.

This may be a silly question, but do you have a rough idea of the cost for repairing the neck? Everything is structurally fine, it just needs new frets and a 0 fret.

Thanks, Ben.

We wouldn't be able to give you a quote without first seeing the neck I am afraid.
