I&apos;ve always wished that Floyd Rose would&apos;ve been born about 20 years earlier, so we could&apos;ve heard Jimi with a locking trem guitar :)Maybe a Whammy pedal, too.

I&apos;ve never seen him, but I watch his Youtube videos all the time. He does such a great job of explaining what he does that I can&apos;t imagine how great it would be to take lessons from him. He also seems like one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

I voted GV, Spectrum, and Galaxias, in that order.Does it have the traditional Vigier constriction specs, aside from the obvious difference

Was Shawn Lane using the DiMarzio Air Classic pickups when he came to Vigier, or did that start later on?His tone is fantastic, and I&apos;m trying to figure out when he started using them.

His album Resolution was on my mp3 player the entire summer last year.... the whole thing is good, but that opening track is just badass.

Any chance we&apos;ll ever see a Surfretter Indus? 

It&apos;s unbelievable how normal that guitar sounds unless you make it apparent that it&apos;s fretless with crazy slides and whatnot.

You should scrape off the crud with a credit card, and oil it ocassionally with the oil, as was mentioned.

Since staring this thread, I got a pack of Adamas 2mm graphite picks.  In a word, awesome.

A nut driver is the tool you want.  Once it&apos;s set, put a little clear fingernail polish on it.  That&apos;s a common trick used for Schaller strap locks.  

This is actually one of the things that&apos;s got me really interested in Vigier, as NOBODY else uses one.

Is there something special about them, or are they just shaped like monsters?

Is the zero fret the same height as the others, or a little higher?  It seems with a standard guitar neck, you&apos;d want it a little higher if it&apos;s helping determine string height, but you don&apos;t exactly use normal necks

What picks do you guys like?  I usually use the Dunlop Jazz III-sized Tortex (purple & green), but also like the regular black and red Jazz IIIs, and the full size green, blue, and purple Tortex.

I agree.  I&apos;m a total gear nerd, and love reading the interviews on manufacturer&apos;s sites.  This one would be especially cool, because in the US, it tends to be the same handful of guys on every site.

Hey Patrice, what made you decide to use a zero fret?  I&apos;m assuming it&apos;s to give open strings the same tone as fretted strings, but if there&apos;s another reason, I&apos;d like to know.

Wow, that&apos;s funny.  A lot of people probably think themselves quite clever for selecting some of those, too.

Any screw will work with Schaller locks, you just might need to grind down the head some for it to fit.
