Indeed it is. For a second I thought you had a multi colored custom pickguard...
Nice looking guitar. Tell us how you like the sound and feel of your new Vigier?

7 String Surfreter
What Ben said,
and, the Surfreter design is not just a metal board on a conventional neck, but rather a comprehensive undertaking...plus the demand for a 7-string Surfreter would be very very minimal, making it a difficult investment in time and money.

SS frets..
<t>My impression is that Vigier Guitars are well balanced with the existing frets. SS frets would add a fair amount of high end and a strong attack to the guitar. Since Vigiers are already quite bright and transparent, SS frets might take this over the top.<br/> SS frets surely feel nice, and last ...

<t>I would like to introduce The Mutaytor to the Vigier family! John Avila has been a Vigier artist for many years. His friend and band mate Buck Down is now playing a Vigier Excalibur Custom. Difference about Excess Indus and Excess Orginal
<t><br/> I can confirm that the sound is very similar, if not identical. All instruments sound slightly different from each other, but the differences are very minor for the same type of instrument. The coating that is on the Indus does not change the overall sound of the bass, it only changes ...

Actually, the switchcraft jack needs to be tightened from the inside cavity. The outside of the switchcraft jack does not have a hex nut on it. The cover, either front or back, needs to be removed to access it.

Will the Vigier ball-bearing Floyd Rose stay in tune WITHOUT a zero fret on my guitar?
<t>Van,The Floyd Rose as Vigier uses it is not available as an aftermarket part. We can only supply these trems either on new guitars, or as replacement parts if repairs should become necessary. The tuning stability on non-Vigier instruments is difficult to predict, there are many factors aside from ...

Zero Fret
<t>The zero frets are ever so slightly taller than the other frets, and are set looser in their espective fret slots. The zero frets are also made from a harder material as the regular frets. One added benefit is that the zero fret on a Vigier guitar is a user-replaceable item. The owner can replace ...
