Dent in Speciaal neck

Hi. I bought a Speciaal about 2 months ago and it has fallen over and put a small dent in the neck. Is there any way of getting the dent out without affecting the finish on the neck? I am presuming the 'water, towel and iron' method would affect the finish on the neck. Any guidance would be really appreciated.

I would think if you are careful with the heat in your method, the finish should be fine and that should mostly pull that dent out depending on the size. For my basses, when I get an actual dent, I use super glue gel, fill the dent, then a super fine file to flatten and smooth it out and a bit of toothpaste (or baking soda and water) to polish it up. yes, you can still see the dent, but you can't feel it which for me is way more important

This is also what I often do with my basses. It will not harm the guitar's exterior finish

You can try using a damp cloth and a hair dryer on low. Gently heat the area around the dent while keeping the cloth damp, this may help the wood expand and lift the dent. Be careful not to overheat the finish.
