Vigier Guitars

Let me start by saying i love my guitar, it is my favorite ive ever owned. The only problem i have and have haad most of the time ive owned it is the recessed jack. The year after i bought mine it was changed to a normal jack so i guess im not alone. It falls out all the time and cuts out during recording constantly, its a huge problem.
 
How can i go about modding it or fixing it so that it works properly? Im am fairly handy and my soldering skills are pretty good.
 
Second question, where can i buy a new zero fret and also a nut for thicker guage strings? I cant find them anywhere. I also have always wanted a black pickguard and have never even seen one available anywhere.
