Vigier Guitars

Salut à tous,
J'ai un souci avec la prise jack de mon Excalibur, super ch.... Faux contact ou je ne sais pas quoi... Impossible de gérer ça en live, il me faut absolument remédier au pb rapidement. Une idée ? Par avance merci pour votre aide.
 

Beware it could have nothing to do with the jack/socket, it may have to do with the battery itself, or the battery holder which may have a damaged wire/contact.
Before disassembling anything, definitely try first a new battery and different cable (jack and cable size tolerances sometimes give problems and maybe the switch which closes circuit and lets power to flow is not making contact with your current cable)

OK thanks for that. I may be the battery socket because I notices things chnage when I hit the back of the guitar with my hand... So, what can I do to solve the problem ?

I guess in that case you would take out carefully the battery socket/compartment, (probably you'll have to unscrew) and verify that the two wires that carry power from the battery to the pickups & electronics are making good connection .... a tester/multimeter would be handy ... if you're not sure what you're doing, just take it to some luthier, better safe than sorry.

On peut enlever juste la partie mobile de compartiment des piles, il faut peut être aussi tordre les lamelles en cuivre qui sont en contact avec les bornes de la pile.
Si non il faut la faire voir à un luthier.
