Hi,

I just received my new Excess 5 and I have a few questions about it.

1) Is there another possibility of finding out the serial number without taking off the neck?
2) there is a little plate between the tuners saying 0024. what does that mean?
3) The color is Natural Alder. There is weird staining all over the body (especially around the pickups and the top edge) which looks like dried wax or polish. Where could that come from? Could that be from improper storage and temperature?

Answer 2: That is the serial number
Answer3: I do not know, see with the dealer....
