Actually im not a current owner of a vigier but i´m willing to buy one if someone can help me here.
I,ve been through lots of guitars, i dont use the trem but i am always forced to buy floyd rose bridge because i always need the locking nut to make the guitar stay in tune.
I have prs se, warmoth, ibanez, godin and many others in the past, im wondering if finally this brand can give me a fixed bridge guitar that really STAYS in tune.
So fixed bridge users, how often you need to tune the guitar? every hour, once a week?

TUNING ISSUES
Hi there...I should be able to help as i primarily play fixed bridge guitars. Stability, even with fixed bridge instruments has been a big issue to me...suffice to say I own 5 Vigier guitars all fixed bridge (and have since sold all other fixed bridge guitars I owned - Fender, Gibson in the list).
You ask how often I tune - out of habit before every 'pass' in the studio I check my tuning or at the start of a gig and about mid-way through a quick check. In reality from these checks how often do I tune my fixed bridge Vigier's...well once the strings have settled in very, very rarely. To note, I once did a 7 date tour, tuning my guitar at the start - although habit made me check I did not need to re-tune for the tour and believe me a throw my guitars around on stage.
I hope this personal account helps give you piece of mind, you won't regret owning a Vigier...just as you won't have to tune it very often either thanks to their outstanding stability, sustain, tone, playability and craftsmanship.

Tuning stability is our strength with non locking tremolo, so without using it, I do not see how you can have a problem!!!!
I have a Peterson strobe tuner thats accurate to 1/1,000th of a semi-tone. That kind of accuracy is great until you notice that your Les Paul will not 'cage' the strobe solidly, which was my experience. The more accurate your tuner the more you see tiny variations in pitch. A tuner with just red or green lights is not very precise at all compared to a Peterson strobe.
Anyway, my Vigier has no problem holding its pitch solidly while tuning. Its very very satisfying to tune. I mentioned in another post that even putting your hand on the neck while tuning a Les Paul will sharp or flat the pitch, but a Vigier will not. You need to remember that it takes a precise tuner to reveal such things, but my Vigier does not budge when I put my hand on the neck. How long does it stay in tune? Thats partly a function of the strings themselves, and how they react to different degrees of repeated bending, etc.
Long story short: you will not find a more stable platform than a Vigier.

the only way one would have a problem with a vigier is if they change string gauge, i own a vigier shawn lane, the 9-42 stayed in tune like a dream,...when i changed to 10-52,...not so much at all,....lol, but i do know what the answer is.... get a new nut i believe, and i am currently ordering one through DJ (if i can find him...lol) so if anyone else is having that problem that might be the solution.....

Yes get a nut that fits your string ;=)
