Problems with Excess 4-string bass

In need of help as my bass is distorting, have grounding problem and the treble boost produces a lot of hiss. I have changed batteries, cables, and have played with Trace Elliot, Ampeg SVT, Line 6. The input socket is making noise and the signal cracks up. I'm playing at Matala Rock concert and need help. The authorised Vigier dealer is Nakas and I have taken my bass to the shop in Heraklion Crete. They do not know how to check the electronics board. Please help resolve this problems or send the schematics to http://www.nakas.gr/ecomnakas/nakas2006/Default.asp?Static=345 I am the original owner of the bass and the only change is I use 35-95 strings, never a problem in the past.
