In this picture, it looks as if the neck is divided into two halves with the addition of the carbon fibre strip. Is this true, or is the neck all one piece? I can't tell by looking at my own guitar!

This picture is just the neck cut in half. it is a one piece Maple neck, with the carbon fibre strip inserted into it.
