Obligatory self-intro...

Hey everyone -
I'm long overdue for an intro here at the forum. I'm a new Vigier artist, and I've been playing my Surfreter Special since 2010 and recently got a brand new urban blue Excalibur Original. You can see it in action (kinda) in my latest 2 videos on my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/larkinguitar
So, my name is Brian, and I play guitar and sing. I'm finishing a mostly-instrumental solo album for release later this year. I've been working on this thing FOREVER, and it's finally almost done.
A certain someone we all know has referred to it as "Larkin Democracy" (LOL), but I'm calling it Far Enough Into the Void instead.

I also sing (and don't play guitar) in the progressive thrash metal band Dark Empire. If you can imagine enjoying a cross between Nevermore, old-school Genesis, Symphony X, melodic death metal like Dark Tranquillity and Soilwork, and classic European thrash metal, then our latest album From Refuge to Ruin will be right up your alley. AND, as it turns out, my very good friends Matt Moliti and Christian Colabelli who share guitar duties in DE are also Vigier artists! http://www.facebook.com/darkempireband
