Good day everyone!...

I was sharing with a friend of mine about Vigier guitars, showing him specs, audios and videos of this great species of the electric guitar~
He was impressed with the Excalibur Custom. He's even planning to get one!... And then, he asked this question:

1) Will Excalibur Custom's 10/90 carbon-reinforced neck still be able to hold "these strings" ? (He owns a few baritone electric guitars and currently uses D'Addario Nickel Wound Baritone Medium Strings 14-68.) He's asking whether the neck system will remain stable, and not bend, warp or change under the tension and pressure from these 14-68 gauge roundwound strings..

2) Does the machineheads, nut, bridge/saddle or any parts of the Excalibur Custom need to be changed or customised to accomodate these 14-68 electric guitar strings?..

Very simple answer: If a standard guitar handles it, his Vigier will handle even better

Thank you Patrice.. and to my (his) second question, the standard hardware(machineheads, saddle, bridge, nut) that comes with a Excalibur Custom will still be able to hold the 14-68 gauge nickel roundwound strings with much much much ease?? With no changes need to be made at all to the original parts of a Excalibur Custom, to fit these strings??  =)

The locking nut needs to be adjusted so the strings can go under the tree (string retainer)

What about a Excalibur Special and also a G.V. Wood? Do any of their original parts need any changes to be able to fit those 14-68 gauge nickel roundwound strings easily? =)

They need to have a nut adjustment and probably also needs to check the E machine head so the 068 string can fit in it.

Thank you so much Patrice.. I am sure my friend will be glad to know that, he can now choose between...... (1) a   Excalibur Custom(2) a   Excalibur Special(3) a   G.V. Wood ......to be his ultimate Baritone Electric Guitar, knowing that...... (A) little changes need to be made to the original parts of the above Vigier guitars(B) no changes need to be made to their 10/90 necks  I really appreciate your help Patrice~ =)
