Patrice and I, have the great honor to announce that Lapiro has won the Freedom to Create prize in the category of the imprisoned artist.Human rights activist Bianca Jagger, leading
human rights lawyer Geoffrey Robertson QC and acclaimed documentary
maker Nick Broomfield presented the awards.  We attended the ceremony and were once again, moved by Lapiro's drive and desire to make a change for the youth of Cameroon as we listened to his interview on screen. We sincerely thank Freemuse who submitted his case for the prize and all of the work they have done for him. Also, we thank those who have had the courage to sign our petition and appeal for freedom of expression. Finally, we met many other associations and victims this night in London who are in action for change.Whether it be in the area of civil war, child soldiers, sexual violence, or censorship, they are trying their best with small means to make big differences. Lapiro is not free. We hope that this prize will have an impact on those that can free him. Thank you. Patrice and Lina

This is huge!

It the
recognition of his action for 30 years, and a message of optimism that we are
sending him.
