Patrice, hi!
I've got the same problem, I need a replacement zero fret for my Custom for more than half a year already  (I'd even better go for two of them for the future) and even a hard case if possible.
It's very uncofortable now to do bends/vibrato on first 3 frets with a worn out zero fret, strings keep popping out of the cavities.
I've wrote a message (please look in your privates) around March 11th... Bayland (Moscow) hasn't contacted me and they constantly tell me they can't do that on the phone.
Could we please resolve this internally maybe? I'll be in Istambul on July 13th-16th and in Frankfurt am Main July 17th-20th... I could drop in somewhere if they have it and are ready to sell...
If not possible - maybe we could arrange a direct small parcel with these zero frets and I'd cover their cost and postage by a money transfer?
Many thanks in advance!!!
P.S. It's a pain to order any part for Vigier from Moscow... simply not commercially interesting for the reseller. I hope time will come and I'll apply for dealership maybe, Vigier definitely deserves better service and attitude!

Only Bayland can help you.I'm not sure you need to change your zero fret on a Custom. Usually even if the fret is marked, it does affect the playing.

This was for the old fret (the hardened one), the new zero fret is made of Stainless Steel, works better, cost less.I will revise the price...

Hello there! I am in the UK and I was wondering where I could get a zero fret from, without having to have a luthier install it!

I contacted HTD and they gave me a list of all their distributors. I emailed EVERY SINGLE ONE of them, and the few that answered gave me the same reply. They cannot send me just a fret, they have to do the installation themselves!

Can I please ask any forum member (or Patrice, if possible) to let me know where I can get a zero fret, without having to have it installed professionally? I want my local guitar tech to do the job for me.

Thanks!!!

They CAN send you a zero fret...it is also very easy to install
yourself. You need a sharp blade (Stanley blade) and simply slide the
fret out and then slide in the replacement, takes 2 minutes to do. I suggest calling the stores again and tell them you have
spoken to us and they can order it and send it to you with no problems.

Thanks for that Ben!
I will call a couple of them up instead of just emailing them and hopefully get a reply that is satisfactory. I have a decent gig in 2 weeks time, and I want to have this sorted by then.

Cheers!

Do note that the factory is closed until 24th August - so nothing will
be shipped before then, though as Isaid in my email will make sure this
is sorted as soon as they are back open at the factory.
