Vigier Guitars

Hi I am just on the verge of buying my first Vigier and although I wanted an Excalibur Supra an Expert has come up for sale near me at a good price. What I need to know is ,apart from the number of frets, what are the differences between the Excalibur and Expert neck please?

Hi Ian,         Welcome to the forums. The difference between the necks is the shape - the Expert neck is 'fatter' and has 22 frets....both necks are great in different ways. I hope you enjoy your new Expert.

Thanks Ben, by the way you wouldn`t happen to know which pickups are in what position on the Expert? Looking on the Dimarzio site the 407 408 & 409 are suitable for just about any position. Also is it possible to tell exactly what model the expert is from the serial number as i would have expected a higher output from the bridge pickup. Overall I am well pleased with guitar it certainly is a load of steps up from american deluxe strat.
