Are all Vigier guitar wood grown and harvested in France?

Good Morning All,
I saw a Vigier video of Patrice Vigier playing a G.V. Wood and was really impressed by the sustain, tone, and overall quality that the video was able to display of the guitar.   After reading what I could find about Vigier, I am really drawn to this company and the attitude of Patrice Vigier.
Are all Vigier guitar wood grown and harvested in France?  I know that some parts are made elsewhere, but I am curious about the wood first.  Is the top maple on a G.V. Wood the harder eastern type or the softer western type?
Thank you for any response to this post.
Stephen

Well, I did find a site about Vigier guitars that does state that the wood used in these guitars is French maple and French alder.  Ebony fretboards do come from Africa, but are the most expensive type and grade.
The maple is the same grade as classical violin makers use.

The maple
we use is from France and it is the same maple used to
make Violin. I'm not waving a flag, we use French wood because we have a
reliable source of quality, if tomorrow we find a reliable source for other
spices then no problem.

For our
parts, I do not look at the country a supplier can be from. What counts is the
quality, if they are from Korea, it is Korea, if is China, it is China, if it is USA, it is USA....who cares if the reputation is
such and such, what count is that the supplier is the best.

The guitars
are made in France as I want to be in control of the
quality, for this I do not trust anybody

Patrice,
Thank you kindly for your reply.  I totally understand your position, and find your response refreshingly honest and candid.
I am, however, extremely happy to hear that the wood, as well as the craftsmenship is French.
My wife is half French, and I am totally in love with all things French.  We support France whenever we are able, as a family, and individually.   This does not mean that I would buy just anything from France if it was not as good as was made some place else, but that, of course is a personal choice, as with most everything.
I have always wanted a guitar made in France and with the introduction of the GV Wood, I am excited that now I have a guitar to go for, that is exactly the type I enjoy working with professionally.

Thank you for your hard work. dedication, and wonderful guitars!
