Couple things.... 1. ?70 for delivery???????? I've posted many a guitar and never cost me more than ?30 2. The pics on the auction page look pretty ropey. Can't you get better ones? 3. New special's can be bought new with hardcases for ?1500-1600, not ?1800. I'm not saying your price is too much, don't really think it's that unreasonable but new ones aren't ?1800. First 2 reasons why you get no sale in my opinion.

Thanks for your concern.
I sent a guitar in June and for insured next day delivery the quotes were between ?64 and ?80.
Couriers are passing on the fuel costs etc and to send things now is expensive, people can pick things up if they so wish.
The RRP of a new special is ?1808 so this was available with a saving of ?808, I am sure I could find a hard case if someone wanted but it was to be supplied as new with the original gigbag.
Once again thanks for your concern, I suppose I will just have to struggle on with my five Vigier guitars, two Strats and a couple of Arpeges for a bit longer.

Hi. I'd give people the option of a slower delivery method too. ?70 is a lot, just check the postage price of other auctions.
I still think the pics are the main reasons you can't sell it. You have all those nice guitars but don't have a camera to do them justice?
ps, what year is the guitar?

Hi Dave, you are probably right but I know I would want the guitar ASAP.
As I say they could pick it up or you are still looking at ?40 for a 2/3/4 day delivery ?, and I would want it quickly. People are kidding themselves if they think they can ship for less at todays prices.
Funny about the camera, I do have a decent camera of the (like me) old type with a thing called film in it ?
They are not the best pictures are they and they do not do the guitar any justice.
The Excalibur Surfreter Special and the Excalibur Special are both 1999 Vigiers and are superb.
All the best matey.
