This Illusion has now completed work on their first full-length album
titled 'The Charm Offensive'. This album marks a step in a different
direction from previous releases.Paul and Ben dedicated a lot
of time to writing The Charm Offensive in order to produce an album for
their own pure enjoyment. This laid back and indulgent approach - not
worrying about current trends or fashion but instead focusing on the
music they enjoy and had inspired them in the first place - has
resulted in a complete transformation of their sound. The end result is
a diverse journey through a soundscape that tips its creative hat to
many genres and artists along the way yet still retains the band's own
distinct voice.Recorded at Swantonbomb studios in Wiltshire
over several different sessions and engineered, mixed and mastered by
Geoff Swan, 'The Charm Offensive' features collaborations with several
