Neutrik locking jack does not lock

Hi,
The Neutrik locking jack in my Excalibur Ultra Blues is not work, i.e., it does not lock at all and I can unplug the cable without pushing the red flange effortless.
Is it normal? Does it mean it is broken and I should replace it?

Yes, if under warranty please contact the dealer you purchased the guitar from.
