GV Wood Neck

Hello there!
I wanted to ask about the G.V. Wood's neck.
Is it a one piece of maple neck? Two piece? Mine looks to me as a one piece neck (apart from the carbon insert , obviously), but I've seen pics of GV's necks that look like 2 piece necks ... maybe early ones were one piece and recent ones 2 piece? maybe it just depends on each particular guitar/batch? ... Can someone reveal the mistery?
