Hi guys, got a few questions...- I see the GV guitars are specced as having stainless steel frets, do excaliburs not have ss frets?- Does using stainless steel strings mean frets wear down faster than using nickel wound strings?- Where can you buy vigier strings?

The best way to buy Vigier strings in the UK is to go into your local music shop and demand they stock them - they are available from us...

- Yes 95% of all Vigier have stainless steel frets.- No stainless steel or nickel strings are the same. But if you have stainless frets, you have nothing to worry because they are much harder than regular frets.

Thanks, trivial question but....do Vigier strings have colored ball ends like d'addario?

I was playing a guitar which I thought had vigier strings as an empty vigier strings packet was in the case but on closer inspection the strings themselves had coloured ball ends with the same colors as d'addario

I would say that the dealer most probably re-strung the Vigier with D'Addario's. It is common for dealers to re-string the guitars in stock with different strings.
