Can you also get a nice thick clean sound with this guitar? And also, I guess this guitar needs the least maintanace, because .... there are no frets that need maintenance/replacement. Or does the metallic fretboard wear out eventually??

Thanks! Clean sound is excellent, fat as can be! As for wear, nope, solid as rock! Haven't touched the setup/neck (apart from string change) in two years and it is as good as new.Hope that answers your questions? If not, let me know.

I tried a fretless once....I was terrible lol. I have lots of respect for guys like yourself and Ron Thal that make it sound good.

- Did you pay exactly the same amount of money as the distributor lists in your country?

Mine has a maple top, which makes it a little different. I'm very lucky and proud to be a Vigier endorsee, should answer your questions!
