Ooh, I&apos;m very excited by this. I love my Excess but I sometimes find the pickups to be a bit noisy when adding overdrive and some other effects. I will probably look at getting the upgrade too. Will be interested on hearing about the price for the upgrade. 

I would love to an Excess five string to bridge the gap between my five string Arpege and four string Excess!
