<t><br/> Vigier with BKP's, a good quality chord, Diezel VH4, a selfmade frankencab with greenbacksthats it.....In the past I've tried some effects but I've always come to the "why bother" conclusion..... I just can't stand fiddling aroundwith extra stuff that chops up your tone ...

AMP S.O.S!!!
True....also, if it starts blowing fuses on a regular basis you should change the tubes, for the output stage Svetlana is nice, pre-amp section Electro -Harmonix (if you want a brighter gainier sound) JJ-Electronic if you want a slightly softer sound.....Just my two cents.

BareKnuckle Pickups
Great, just remember that the BKPs are more sensitive to height adjustment that your average pickup.....just take about half an hour to find the correct height that suits your playing style, but I'm sure you'll enjoy them, they're very nice, harmonic sounding pickups.

Diezel amplifier
I'm also a very happy owner of a VH4 . Tried the Mesa Recto stuff.... just too boomy. Diezel just rocks, our other guitar player plays through a Einstein, not bad either.
