Thought I'd share this here.

<r>While faffing about on Soundcloud I found a file I&apos;d recorded last year. I had in my possession, just for a couple of days, a Supra7 and Surfretter for review purposes. I told Ben I&apos;d record something on the first day being as the Surfretter isn&apos;t exactly a guitar I was familiar ...

Is there a guitar BETTER than the shawn lane model?

<t>There are lots of guitars I really like (Vigier and otherwise) and I own more than a few but the one I keep going back to more than any other is the SL. I&apos;ve never owned a guitar that simply gets so much right and has an air of both being boutique and yet totally workman like at the same ...

Gave the SL another run out last weekend.

<r> <QUOTE author="Hayden"><s>[quote="Hayden"]</s>Ah, good stuff. I was thinking if I ended up swapping mine out I&apos;d likely head down the BKP route again (had something like 10 sets from them, just something I know and trust) - but, I like the way the Suhr stuff (Aldrich/SSV/SSH+) sounds in a ...

<r> <QUOTE author="Hayden"><s>[quote="Hayden"]</s>Hi Hayden. Have you swapped out the pickups in your SL? **EDIT** Just had a search and found a mention of Sidewynder HH-1s? Gave the SL another run out last weekend.

<r><br/> It&apos;s already a veteran of a couple of guitar shows but last weekend I was invited to the Great British Guitar Show to host the Gunslinger event (where people get up on stage and show me up basically <E>:)</E> ). The SL was as flawless as ever and only let down by the person stood ...

I&apos;ve guessed three of them correctly. By the time you get to the 5th Vigier CD in 2018 I should have gotten the remaining seven.

Gig with my Vigier...

<t>Great post! I&apos;ve used my SL at a couple of shows now and people really do want to know what the * it is which is cool. I&apos;ll have it with me for the Birmingham show at the weekend too. As for only playing Vigier, I can understand that and if we didn&apos;t have a nipper on the way in the ...

See Vigier at the winter NAMM 2012!

I can&apos;t wait to try one of the seven string Excalibur&apos;s out. I have to say the new iMetal board looks great, I think I prefer it to the gold sheen of the Delta metal version.

The green strings are temporary (I had to give them a whirl though!) but the zebra coil Sidewynder HH-1 humbuckers are for keeps. Even changed the zero fret the other day and was surprised by how easy it was, I didn&apos;t even manage to damage anything at all!

That looks so good! I don&apos;t have the courage to have my Vigier scalloped so I have to jump on one of my others to get that fix.

Mattias ia Eklundh. Not sure if the rumours about Caparison guitars are true but he&apos;d be an excellent endorsee. His clinics are also superb.Alex Hutchings.Smooth, tasteful, technically amazing.

<r>Well, I&apos;ve had 24 hours or so with the guitar now (Sadly not all of them playing, sleeping and eating have to be attended to!) which is very different to having a guitar in for review, when it&apos;s your own you are far less distanced.
