Hi guys,

I've been in talks with a person selling a mint Excalibur Super 7 from 2014, and I was thinking of possibly pulling the trigger so I can try my first Vigier. However, I'd wait for a new one if there have been any updates/improvements to the model since then. Perhaps Patrice or someone knows if this is the case?
Thanks!

Vigier are always evolving and innovating - a 2014 guitar will be amazing no matter any incremental changes since then.

I love my 2005 Ultra the best of all my guitars, even though it has many older features, it has just such a unique character.

Thanks! Looking at the website, specs wise there doesn't seem to be a change...it does seem that the 7 strings have been slightly neglected in terms of a lot of the newer features aren't implemented on them.

Vigier have always undergone innovations...the 7's all share the most recent innovations;
Stainless Steel frets, Flexretainer, Zero-Fret-S, Teflon Nut. The Excalibur Special 7 was introduced in 2012 (and features the new Kill Switch) as well as French Flamed Maple top.
