Im looking into purchasing an expert retro 54 in normandie blue, when looking on vref it says the standard pickguard is white/black/white and i have seen pictures showing this and that is the colour i would want, however recent pictures i have seen and other colour retros seem to be coming with a single ply cream pickguard, is this standard on all colours now or is the white/black/white still available.

It is a mistake with vRef, the Expert 54 comes with a white pickguard as you will have seen in the pictures.

Check out the new version, the Expert Classic Rock - just come back from NAMM and can say it is amazing, the Amber p/ups are very musical and sound stunning!

The Amber's are not noiseless - they are true vintage single coils and quite simply 'wow' when you play them!! Best single coils I have heard (I will order a Classic Rock / Amber loaded pickguard for my Expert Retro 54).

Creme pickguard as standard for the Expert Classic Rock, please Patrice...I thought it was already decided - the one at NAMM looked perfect!!
