Hi! I picked up an Arpege recently - a really fine guitar I am enjoying loads! I don't know much about them though, so would like to hear your opinions on the guitar and a little more detail on the spec.

As far as I know it's an Arpege I since it it has a wooden neck with the metal underneath (see pics). Apparently it's serial 037, from November 1986 - any ideas how I could verify this? Does it look all original? Any issues?

Any info much appreciated! :)

It is probably from 1982 or 1983, you can verify the date of manufacture in the treble pickup cavity.

Hi All

Decided to part with my Arpege but have absolutely no idea as to its value or a fair asking price.  Anybody able to give me any indication?

Thanks, Q.

This very Arpege now belongs to me (Thanks again Quinny!)

There is basically one question that bothers me:Is there a possibility other than unscrewing the locking nut every time I want to tune the guitar?

ThanksPhil

Extremely rare Vigier, probably less than 10 pcs with this locking nut.

You have to lock the strings if you want to stay in tune...
