Hello,?
im considering selling my Marilyn, in perfect condition, n. serial:138 (dated 05.29.1990 on the vigier website).
Only 230 such guitars were produced! i got it from a collector who never touched it. Im very satisfied with my other guitars, thats why i've played with the Marilyn and consider selling it.?
Objectively, it is an exceptionnal instrument:
- very well build, nothing has moved, action is very low, no buzzing
- great neck (carbon), very pleasant to play on, extremely fast, good access to high notes
- neck thru (in carbon!)
- very very good sustain
- floating tremolo, vigier, very stable
- 2 active BENEDETTI pickups!, very loud and precise
- 1 knob for volume, 1 knob to choose among 6 positions for various frequency ranges (tones are very diverse), 1 knob to select pickups
- fretboard in phenowood (harder than wood for a better sustain, bright and very pleasant to touch)
- 22 frets (the only thing i dont like.., but well, thats a grown-up guitar :) )
- rather "big sound", good for metal, but trebles can be so loud and precise that one can play everything with it.
There's not a single scratch or mark on it, if you see a strange dot on the pictures, it's a piece of dust or light reflection!?
Sold with its case Vigier and tremolo bar.
I believe it is an instrument that will be more and more expensive as the years go.
I sell it for 2000euros, or us dollar or pounds or yen or whatever equivalent.
