The middle pickup is a DiMarzio Virtual P90. Switching should be the same as any Ultra Blues:1. Bridge2. Bridge + Middle3. Middle4. Middle + Neck5. Neck

Hey... personally I've always liked Ernie Ball, but I have no real experience with Dean Markley. In any event, I'm with Ben, you should always recheck your intonation when you swap out gauges or brands.
