Jeremy Krull - new studio album "(de)Tested"
<p>Hey all...so the time is finally here.<br /><br />Since October 2012 I have been working on a new record of original music...the first of its kind from me in nearly ten years. It is called "(de)Tested" and it is to date the deepest emotional connection I have had to any creative work I have done ...

About Vigier GV Wood Mahogany
<r><p>I want to say it was under 25? I forget, I know we went over this a few times at the NAMM that those guitars were announced ahead of. <br /><br />Jealous and extremely happy for you at the same time...that was one of the most exceptional instruments I have ever played or heard. Kicking my...

<r><p>It is a shame that you would return such an exquisite instrument because of something like that. I would remind you though that if it really does bother you that much, the Expert guitars are front routed and you could have a new pickguard made if you wanted to. My Surfreter is from 2004 and my...

NEW GUITAR DAY...and also a little something else? (Excalibur 7 string content)
<p>So on Thursday the 27th, I took long awaited delivery of my brand new 7-string Excalibur Supra. I must say, even having seen and played as many Vigier guitars as I have, this is one of the absolute most stunning finishes I have EVER seen on any of them. It's finished in Black Sparkle, rosewo...

Back in the 80s....
<r> <P>?He might've been talking about the earlier Nautilus guitars (correct me if I'm wrong Patrice)...but I'm pretty sure that some o the earlier instruments, both guitar and bass, had the "memory" feature on them. I have no idea how it works, but considering it had a digital number...

Shawn Lane Master Series Fret Question
<r>Really happy you're digging it. I've had instruments Plek'd before...the guy that programmed that particular Plek machine had absolutely no idea what he was doing though. That being said I've also played other instruments which were Plek'd from their respective factories....

Shawn Lane Master Series Fret Question
<r>The 2010 NAMM was when the stainless announcement was made, as well as the FlexRetainer being introduced. At that point, the actual show guitars weren't even all entirely stainless fretted guitars, most were but a few weren't (some of the instruments at the show were mint '09s as w...

The pictures are great...but I cannot believe that somehow I missed Jean-Christophe Maillard being at the booth? KICKING MYSELF. He's incredible, saw him with Richard Bona.

Instrument cable selection
Been using DiMarzio FOREVER. The overbraid or the gold/silver covered ones are indestructible. If I get really particular in the studio I might switch over to a Mogami here and there, but the DiMarzio cables do the job more than well.

Guitars & tracking.....
No I know, but I think it's the only thing that exists like this so far. They have a similar system for pets (both of my cats had it implanted at the shelter I got them from)...it's the same way, you cannot determine location unless they scan it.

The feel of playing a flat radiused fretboard ala Shawn Lane Vigier?
<r>Going from a normally radiused instrument (Vigier or not) to the SL model is a very interesting change. Yes in a way it's similar to a classical nylon guitar, however the spacing is narrower obviously. The fretboard being truly flat, as well as the scale being more toward the Les Paul end of...
