Biography: |
Duncan began his musical adventure in school playing flamenco guitar before swapping the nylon strings for an altogether heavier approach playing in a death metal band called "Demisery".
It was at the age of fifteen that Duncan had his first taste of a recording studio. As a teenager Duncan, although somewhat sidetracked by the “love of beer and girls” managed to find himself at home as a studio technician; something that happened more by accident – “I was usually the one moving mic’s around and hitting record”.
Although a successful teacher at London’s well respected “School of Sound and Music @ City of Westminster College, London” Duncan has still managed to find time to tour across Europe.
He was a founding member of the successful UK Electro / Metal act “Zero Cipher” and has been the leading contributor on the bands many official releases.
As a session musician Duncan has worked with the likes of Endemol TV and Bernie Nolan (of the Nolans!), and he has presented Audio / Teaching research at the Audio Engineering Society conventions for the past two years running (Paris and Vienna).
