Vigier Introduces G.V. Series Guitars
Vigier, the pioneer of carbon-fiber technology in guitar design, is delighted
to introduce a unique new addition to its lineup. After a year of intense
research and development, Vigier proudly presents the G.V., which is the very
first single-cutaway guitar the company has created. The G.V. is a tribute to
Georges Vigier, who unselfishly contributed to the success of Vigier Guitars for
over 20 years.
By using the company's exclusive 10/90 system (10% carbon/90% wood) and a few
secrets in the design, Vigier has created a light guitar with superior tonal
characteristics. The G.V. offers balanced response, lots of power, no dead spots
on the fingerboard, and sustain that lasts forever. Furthermore, the G.V.
benefits from having a zero fret and Teflon nut, which create less friction to
allow strings to glide freely across the nut, and provide better stability in
tuning. Depending on the model, the G.V.'s electronics will include a pair of
either Amber or DiMarzio humbucking pickups that are activated by a 5-way pickup
selector switch.
For this new series, Vigier has developed an exclusive bridge and tailpiece that
can be locked in place once the setup is completed. This exceptional design
prevents tuning problems and guarantees better sustain.
The G.V. Series includes three models: G.V.Metal, G.V.Rock, G.V.Wood. All
instruments are carefully handcrafted by master luthiers using select grades of
alder and maple.

Vigier, the pioneer of carbon-fiber technology in guitar design, is proud to
introduce a new addition its family-the very first Vigier single-cutaway
electric guitar. This elite baby will deliver the hottest sounds of all guitars
in Vigier's product line. The single-cut body design reflects a combination of
modernism and tradition, which is exactly what this new Vigier model is about.
Like all Vigier instruments, the new single-cut guitar features a wood neck
reinforced by a carbon-fiber bar that utilizes the company's exclusive 10/90
system (10% carbon fiber/90% wood). The guitar is equipped with the new Vigier
nut made of Teflon, which dramatically reduces friction at the nut, where most
tuning problems typically occur. With a carbon-fiber reinforced neck and the new
Teflon nut, overall tuning is greatly improved and the instrument itself is
extremely reliable.

top. The bridge and tailpiece are Vigier's original design and include a unique
feature that makes it possible to lock any pieces of the bridge in place once
the setup is done. This useful attribute guarantees an improvement in tone,
greater sustain, as well as better tuning. The new single-cut model is equipped
with a pair of humbuckers, a 5-way pickup selector switch for a variety of
sounds, volume and tone controls.

Pascal Mulot Gets The Low Down On Vigier
Vigier, the pioneer of carbon-fiber technology in guitar design, is pleased
to welcome esteemed bassist Pascal Mulot into the family of Vigier artists.
Mulot has been surrounded by music from an early age, as his father was a jazz
musician who played upright bass. Inspired by his father's legacy, in 1991 Mulot
became the first rock bassist in France to record a solo album, Purple Eyes. The
follow up, Bass And Love, was released in 1994, and his third disc, Can You Hear
Me, Jay?, came out in 1998. Look for Mulot's new album, Tsar Bomba, in January
2009. Some tracks on this latest disc were recorded with a Vigier Passion Custom
4-string fretless Delta Metal.
Mulot's unique style and innovative use of the bass have earned high praise,
leading him to share the stage with many top artists such as Steve Vai, Blues
Saraceno, Simon Phillips, TM Stevens, and Steve Lukather.
Mulot has chosen a Passion Series IV 4-string bass in Deep Burgundy as his
weapon of choice. "This is a bass with class!" Mulot affirms. "It
feels very comfortable in my hands and it's well-balanced for playing while
standing up. The neck has the legendary characteristics that make Vigier
instruments unique. Intonation is extremely precise, and the tone is very sweet
and warm. The Passion Series IV 4-string allows me to play things that I could
not play on other basses."

Vigier Introduces New Teflon Nut For All Models
Vigier, the pioneer of carbon-fiber technology in guitar design, constantly
searches for new ways to improve its instruments. Sharp attention to detail and
an ongoing quest for perfection have made Vigier synonymous with innovation.
Recent experimentation using a new Teflon nut has led to a breakthrough that
greatly improves tuning and overall stability of the instruments. By
dramatically reducing friction at the nut, where tuning problems are most likely
to occur, strings will glide effortlessly through the slots of the new Teflon
nut and come back in tune when players are using the vibrato bar or bending
strings.
This new Teflon nut is easily replaceable, requiring no need for glue or a
luthier. Players will be able to make any necessary changes on their own
instruments and select the nut that best fits their preferred string gauge.
The new Teflon nut will be installed as a standard feature on all Vigier
instruments beginning in January 2009.
